29. Rehab Is a Revolving Door With a Price Tag

(They treat the addiction, not the abyss.)

Write. Laugh. Hope.

You walk in bleeding.
They hand you a slogan.
You cry out for healing—
they hand you a bill.

Rehab isn’t broken.
It’s functioning exactly as designed:
Short stays. Long payments. Surface fixes. No root repair.

They treat the symptom.
The behavior.
The chemical.

But what about the why?

What about the hollowed-out places where the pain started?
What about the abuse, neglect, poverty, isolation, trauma?
What about the generational curses wrapped in normalized dysfunction?

You didn’t just wake up one day and choose destruction.
You adapted.
You medicated.
You tried to stay.

And they call that weakness?

Recovery shouldn’t be a luxury.
It shouldn’t be a profit stream.
It shouldn’t be a place where only the insured get reborn.

Because if you treat the addiction
but send the person back to the exact same abyss—
that’s not healing.
That’s recycling pain.

You’re not a failure if you “relapsed.”
You’re a human being
who was never given a real way out.

Rehab doesn’t need more slogans.
It needs soul-level restructuring.

Write. Laugh. Hope.
Because what the hell else is there?

The Swear Jar

If this Wolf pissed you off in a productive way—good. That’s kind of the point. Tip if you want to support someone calling out predators dressed as protectors. This system’s been chewing people up for decades. Help me drag it into the light, one toothy truth at a time. No guilt. No pressure. Just justice, satire, and a virtual swear jar. Click if you’re tired of playing nice with wolves.

Got your own story of fighting the system? Unleash it here.
This isn’t a comment box—it’s a megaphone. Blow the lid off.
