If the teachers were toxic, so are the machines.
Write. Laugh. Hope.
Machines don’t make themselves.
They’re trained. Fed. Programmed.
By us.
By systems that already favored the powerful.
Silenced the marginalized.
Erased the inconvenient.
So what happens when you digitize that?
You get precision-engineered discrimination.
At scale. At speed. With a smiley chatbot face.
AI doesn’t fix bias.
It learns it faster.
Applies it colder.
And makes it harder to trace.
It’s not neutral. It’s mathematically polite racism.
Algorithmic classism.
Gender-blind, neurodivergent-erasing, trauma-indifferent automation.
Search results reflect who they think matters.
Hiring tools reflect who they think belongs.
Moderation systems reflect who they think should be silenced.
And when you ask why?
It’s “the model.”
It’s “training data.”
It’s “not our intention.”
But you know better.
Because if you were never seen by the humans—
You’ll be deleted by the machine.
Write. Laugh. Hope.
Because what the hell else is there?
