Bliss and Serena needed some care,
With life on the farm full of wear and tear.
But counseling’s call was a hopeful relief,
To untangle their minds from all of life’s grief!
Dick laughed and scoffed, but Bliss didn’t mind—
She knew this help would leave him behind!
Bliss, with her usual unshakable calm, was finally heading to counseling after what seemed like a lifetime of waiting. The funny farm had been bustling with its usual blend of chaos, but underneath the surface, Bliss knew both she and Serena, her trusty and sweet sheep companion, needed a little help to unwind. After all, Dick the yellow jackass had been up to his usual shenanigans, making snide comments, throwing tantrums, and sabotaging every small victory with his relentless idiocy. It wasn’t the work that was hard—it was dealing with Dick’s constant stupidity that wore on them.
When Bliss and Serena received the call to say they were finally off the waiting list, the air on the farm seemed lighter for a moment. “Serena, it’s time! We’re getting some proper therapy!” Bliss announced with a smile, giving Serena a big woolly hug. Serena, always the gentle soul, looked relieved but nervous. “Do you think they can really help us, Bliss?” she asked, eyes wide with hope and uncertainty. “Of course they can!” Bliss replied. “We’ve been through worse and come out stronger. This is just another bump on the road!”
But of course, no moment of triumph was complete without Dick sticking his nose—or his hooves—into the business. “Counseling?” Dick snorted when he overheard them. He was sprawled under a shady tree, looking lazy as usual, tossing around more nonsense than manure. “You two are way too twisted for any therapist to fix! You’re beyond help. Who do you think you are, trying to ‘heal’? You should just stay as messed up as this farm!” He laughed at his own cruel joke, his yellow teeth gleaming in the sun.
Bliss didn’t even flinch. “Oh, Dick, you sweet simpleton,” she said with a knowing grin, “You’re right, we are twisted—twisted into something wonderful, creative, and unbreakable. Thanks for the reminder!”
Serena giggled behind her woolly fluff, seeing Dick look confused, his brain short-circuiting for a moment. He was so used to his insults landing like bombs, but with Bliss, they bounced off like rubber balls. “Whatever,” Dick grumbled, as he wandered off to chase a crow that had been dive-bombing him all morning.
Bliss and Serena made their way to the counselor’s office, a cozy virtual reality setup where they’d be meeting Dr. Neigh, the mini-horse therapist. Dr. Neigh was famous on the Funny Farm for her ability to turn any problem into an adventure of self-discovery, with plenty of horse puns along the way. “Welcome, Bliss and Serena!” she greeted them warmly through their VR headsets. “Let’s trot right into your feelings, shall we?”
Bliss smiled, ready for anything. “Let’s gallop through it,” she joked back, appreciating Dr. Neigh’s upbeat energy. Serena, still nervous, twitched a little. “But what if we can’t fix everything? What if we’re…too broken?” she asked softly, voicing her hidden fears.
Dr. Neigh looked at Serena with soft understanding. “Oh sweet Serena, nothing’s ever too broken to fix. Even a wonky wagon can still roll if you give it some love, care, and a little tune-up! You’re not twisted, you’re evolving. You’re shedding some old wool for new adventures!” Serena brightened at the thought. Maybe she wasn’t beyond saving. Maybe the farm wasn’t either.
Meanwhile, back on the farm, Dick, ever the jackass, tried his best to interfere. He was snooping around the therapy station, making faces at the holographic screens and loudly declaring, “It’s all nonsense! Bliss and Serena don’t need help—they just need a good kick in the—” Before he could finish his sentence, the crows swooped down, pecking at his straw hat and cawing insults at him. “Hey, Dick! Maybe you should try therapy—there’s no cure for stupid, but it’s worth a shot!” they squawked as they flew off, leaving Dick scowling and swinging his hooves at the air.
Bliss, still deep in therapy, heard none of Dick’s antics. She was too busy diving into a virtual hayfield, processing emotions while Serena and Dr. Neigh took turns leading her through guided meditations. “Breathe in confidence, breathe out stress! Life’s just a big pasture, and you’re free to roam!” Dr. Neigh whinnied encouragingly.
The session flew by, and by the end, Bliss and Serena felt lighter than they had in months. It wasn’t that their problems had magically disappeared, but they had a fresh perspective on how to handle them. “We don’t need to let Dick or anyone else weigh us down,” Bliss said with a firm nod. “Our minds are stronger than his insults, and we have more creativity in one sheep wool curl than he does in his entire floppy ears.”
Serena beamed, feeling that lightness in her heart return. “You’re right, Bliss. We always find a way to turn things around. Therapy’s just another tool in our kit!”
Back at the farm, Bliss and Serena returned to their work with renewed energy. They ignored Dick’s childish taunts and used the strategies Dr. Neigh had taught them to stay grounded, focused, and, most importantly, laughing through it all.
Even when Dick tried to sabotage their progress by breaking into their meditation spot and pretending to be their “alternative therapist” (where he just told them to give up on life and worship him), Bliss didn’t even blink. “Oh, Dick,” she said with a chuckle, “Your alternative therapy of bad advice could be a hit in a sitcom. But in real life? Nah.” Serena and Bliss laughed together, and Dick, flustered and irritated that he wasn’t getting the reaction he wanted, stormed off to sulk in the barn.
The farm blossomed once more, with Bliss and Serena finding peace even in the midst of chaos. The mini-cows, inspired by Bliss’s resilience, hosted a new “Moo Meditation Marathon,” where they led the entire farm through peaceful, meditative walks to strengthen their mental well-being. The ducks waddled around quacking affirmations at everyone: “Believe in yourself! You are loved! You are powerful!”
And of course, the crows continued their relentless heckling of Dick, who was becoming more and more frazzled by the day. “Hey Dick, you thought you could bring them down, but Bliss turned therapy into fun town!” they teased.
As for Dr. Neigh, she popped in from time to time through her VR station to check on Bliss and Serena. “Keep on trotting forward, my dears! You’re always moving in the right direction, no matter what Dick tries to do!”
The Funny Farm thrived like never before. Therapy didn’t just help Bliss and Serena cope—it gave them the tools to rise higher than ever. And while Dick continued to be, well, Dick, the laughter, love, and resilience of the Funny Farm family grew stronger each day. It turned out, they were never twisted—just beautifully complex, always finding new ways to turn life into a big, fun adventure.
